Yoda to Join Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series 6 Inch Action Figure Line
As you should already know, today is Star Wars Day. It is an unofficial holiday created by fans to honor the Star Wars film franchise. In honor of this very special day, Hasbro has revealed that Yoda will be joining the 6-inch Star Wars Black series action figure line.
At the moment, very little information is available about this figure. He was revealed on the official Star Wars Instagram account by Tom Cane, the voice of Yoda in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, with the following caption:
“In celebration of #StarWarsDay #Hasbro is excited to exclusively reveal the next figure in The Black Series 6-inch line, with the help of Tom Kane and his #BlackSeriesSelfie video!
Don’t forget to post your own #BlackSeriesSelfie photos! #Yoda”
Judging by the image below, it looks like he is going to be coming with a cane, a Dagobah snake and a lightsaber. Yoda could potentially be released as early at Star Wars Black Series wave 5 (2014 wave 3), but at this point it is only speculation. Until then, enjoy the first look at the 6 inch Yoda figure below.
UPDATE: Hasbro has now released a higher resolution image for your viewing pleasure.
