If you are an action figure collector then you probably know most of the best places to buy toys like Walmart, Target, and Toys “R” Us. What you have to know though is that there are other places that carry toys that you may never think of. I am going to go over some of the places I would have never guessed where to buy toys locally.
Let’s start off with the big toy carriers. These places are probably the more well-known places to stock toys.
Now those are places that any normal person could think of to buy toys. The fact is that there is way more places where to buy toys locally.
- Barns & Noble (yes they have toys at a book store)
- Bartell Drugs
- EB Games
- Modells Sporting Goods
- Comic Shops (DUH!)
- The Sports Authority (sports store?)
- Grocery Stores
- Local Toy Stores
Obviously if you are looking for toys in these smaller stores you might not find what you are looking for because they have a way smaller selection than the bigger stores. The smaller stores can be better though because they are less visited and you may have a better chance at finding old figures or even chase figures. Give these other stores a chance and you never know what you might come up with. Some of the stores even have better deals than the bigger ones.
