Tweeterhead’s Classic TV Joker Maquette Looks Amazing
The Joker is one of the most iconic villains in the history of comic books. Whether you’re a fan of sick and twisted depictions such as those by Azzarello or some more light-hearted yet equally crazy versions like Bruce Timm, Joker definitely remains a force to be reckoned with. And say what you will about the campy 60s Batman with Adam West, but Cesar Romero’s Joker was pretty fun, and definitely deserves a spot among the various Joker incarnations throughout film and television. So it’s definitely awesome that we’re getting a Tweeterhead Classic TV Joker Maquette, part of their “Signature Series” maquette line which also includes the Riddler and Egghead.

The Joker figure will stand at 14 inches tall and is set against a fun brick wall backdrop, with an ax and a removable clown head. The character has been painted and sculpted perfectly showing even the tiniest of creases on his 3-piece suit, while his makeup is spot on, even the part around his lips where he has mustache underneath the white makeup (something not noticeable back in the days on non-HD broadcast TV). Each base will be hand numbered, and if you decide to purchase the statue directly from Tweeterhead, you will also receive Joker’s utility belt. What is great for collectors is that every statue will include a certificate of authenticity with the printed signature of Cesar Romero.

Pre-orders are live and the statue is listed at $249.99, which is a good deal for a statue of this quality and size. If you’re a fan of the classic Batman Series or have the other statues from the line, then this is a must-have for you.
