The Toys “R” Us Exclusive Marvel Legends S.H.I.E.L.D 3-Pack won’t be available for some months, though eBay seller viperskingdom and falconer3933 have given us some new images of the figures in the triple pack: Maria Hill, Agent Coulson and Nick Fury.
I have to say these figures look pretty good with Coulson being the best and most unique of the set. I can see some re-used parts in Fury (Marvel Legends Red Skull) and Hill (Marvel Legends Black Widow). They’ve also kept the sculpted guns in holsters for Maria, which is annoying. Aside from that they look great and very much like Cobie Smulders and Samuel L.Jackson respectively. The paint jobs on them are very good too.
I can honestly say many fans will be picking up this set for Agent Coulson alone, as this is his debut in 6″ plastic form. I have to say it looks like Clark Gregg quite a bit and if you know who Coulson is you’ll recognise him straight away. He also comes with the most interesting accessories – an interchangeable head and the prototype weapon he used on Loki in The Avengers, which is a great accessory. It’s quite well detailed for its size too.
The prices on eBay are extraordinarily high though it won’t be too long till they are released in Toys “R” Us stores this coming April. If you’re a Coulson fan, you need to pick this set up.
Must buy.
I know I will be making a special trip to Toys “R” Us to get this but I really want a Melinda May figure to go with it.
She makes that show. It looks like you had to be in the movies to make the pack though.
