FUNKO TONES IT DOWN FOR NYCC 2015
Funko brought a ridiculous amount of SDCC exclusives to the show this year. It looks like they have toned things down a bit for NYCC, only bringing 30 something exclusives.
BY THE POWER OF GRAYSCALE!
No, that’s not a typo. Super7 and Mattel teamed up for grayscale MOTU figures in the ReAction style. They will be available exclusively at NYCC.
SLICK NEW MOBILE APP BY HOT TOYS
Hot Toys launched their first official mobile app this week. You need to purchase figures to use it, but it allows you to take photos with 3D models, like sentries from AUO, added in automatically. I need Thor now so I can use it!
BLUFIN HAS NYCC EXCLUSIVES
Bluefin has announced a bunch of import figures that will be their NYCC 2015 exclusives. They are available for purchase though a ticketed sale process.
MONDO’S DONATELLO WENT UP THIS WEEK, I HOPE YOU DON’T WANT THE EXCLUSIVE
Mondo’s Donatell went up for pre-order this week, and like last time, the exclusive version sold out very fast. I got one, but I wish they would notify fans more in advance.
THE GOD OF THUNDER HAS ARRIVED
The new Hot Toys Thor has arrived, based on his appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Even if you have Thor already, you should consider this one because you can use the new Augmented Reality app, and you get a light up Mjolnir.
HOT TOYS KILLED THE FIRST ORDER TIE PILOT
Hot Toys announced the First Order TIE Pilot this week, and I think they killed it. Out of the figures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens Hot Toys has announced, this one is close to the top of the list.
WE HAVE A FIGMA HULK!
The Good Smile Company has been working on their Avengers figures for a couple of years now. Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man have all been released. Now, we have a Hulk!
BATMANKOFF MAKES FOR A KILLER RED SON TRIO
Sideshow Collectibles announced their Batman Red Son statue, which is the perfect complement to the already announced Wonder Woman and Superman.
MCFARLANE IS MAKING MORE TELLTALE THE WALKING DEAD FIGURES
McFarlane and Skybound are teaming up for this year’s New York Comic-Con to release another figure from the Telltale TWD video game, Lee Everett. He’s available exclusively in the Skybound booth.
