ANOTHER HOT TOYS BINGE
This week Hot Toys went on another one of their big benders, revealing the official details for 3 new 1/6th scale figures. They revealed the MIDAS Iron Man Mark XXI (Toy Fairs Exclusive), the Heartbreaker Mark XVII Armor and the The Mandarin 1/6 Scale Figure. It seems like months since we were first treated to a teaser for The Mandarin and now he’s finally here. (Oh yeah, it was months ago…)
FREDDY GETS THE VIDEO GAME TREATMENT
Hot on the heels of the SDCC 2013 exclusive Jason Voorhees NES figure from NECA comes a NES version of Freddy Krueger. He seems to be lacking the glow in the dark treatment that Jason received, along with the much desired knee articulation?
MORE VARIANT PLAY ARTS KAI
Square Enix has finally released the official images for their upcoming DC Comics Variant Play Arts Kai Flash and Batgirl figures, they are scheduled to be shipping in November. Pre-Orders seem to be sold out at BBTS and it looks like if you want them you are going to have to import them.
THE 3A DEAD ASTRONAUT GANGSTER
The ThreeA Dead Astronaut Gangster went up for pre-order this week on 3A’s store. The sale was a success and is currently closed. There is no word on if BBTS will be stocking them if you have interested in this figure.
THREEZERO’S THE WALKING DEAD 12 INCH FIGURES
This website has a really great interview with ThreeZero’s Lead Designer Kim Fung Wong about the upcoming The Walking Dead figures. In the interview he reveals that they are working on Daryl Dixon, Rick Grimes, Michonne, the Well Walker and more characters. He also talks about the price point, which is likely going to be around $130 – $150 each figure. Also, it looks like the Merle head sculpt is going to be getting some much needed changes before it is released. Expect the pre-order for these figures in the 4th quarter of this year.
FUNKO HAS A NES JASON
Funko has had some apparent success with their blind box figures and their latest assortment, the Horror Movie Mystery Minis feature a NES Jason Voorhees! If you missed out on the SDCC NECA Jason, here’s your chance to get one! They are comparable right? Right?
MATTEL SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE IN DANGER

LEGO SIMPSONS COMING IN 2014
The Associated Press are reporting that LEGO has plans to release the first Simpsons LEGO sets globally in 2014. They don’t say what time of the year, so I guess we shall find out more later.
