Toy News Roundup: ‘6-inch Figures’, ‘Metallic Captain Phasma’, ‘Stan Lee’ and the FAT Hulkbuster
Today is Sunday and it’s time for the 110th edition of the Toy News Roundup. Here we round-up all of the most important toy news of the week from our site, and also link you to any toy news that we didn’t cover. So let’s see what the big toy news was this week, shall we?
STORM COLLECTIBLES TAKES ON SEVERAL LICENSES IN 6-INCH SCALE
Storm Collectibles was at NYCC 2015, and to many people’s surprise they are going to be taking on several licenses in the 6-inch scale.
NOT COUNTING SUPER HEROES, HERE’S HOT TOYS MOST DONE CHARACTER… AGAIN.
I think Hot Toys has made more Elder Predators than any other character, not counting super heroes, of course. Now they have fully improved the AvP version for a killer figure.
A METALLIC CAPTAIN PHASMA!
It seems like just about every Captain Phasma toy that is getting released just has grey armor. Kotobukiya’s actually has a metallic shine!
WOULD THE REAL STAN LEE PLEASE STAND UP?
GoHero’s Stan Lee 12-inch action figure was slightly disappointing. Hot Toys announced this week that they will be doing him, and the preview image of the prototype looks very promising.
A RICK GRIMES PREVIEW; HOW MANY YEARS TO A PRE-ORDER?
So, 2 years after the first release there is a preview for the 2nd figure in this series. Just how long do you think it will be until we have a real pre-order?
