Can you believe that it’s been over 2 years since Threezero announced Michonne’s Pet Zombies as the first figures in their The Walking Dead sixth scale line? I can’t. They took a step back after they showed the Pet Zombies and Merle Dixon at SDCC 2013, where a lot of fans gave feedback on the sculpts that Threezero wanted to improve upon. They wanted their Walking Dead figures to be perfect.
The Hong Kong based action figure manufacturer has now released a preview image of their Rick Grimes 1/6th scale figure, which is based on Andrew Lincoln’s image in Season 4 of The Walking Dead TV show. It’s unclear at this time what accessories he will be coming with, as he’s been shown in the past with multiple heads, his sheriff uniform, and more.
While the head sculpt still isn’t accurate, I’m crossing my fingers that Threezero can still fix it before pre-order or release. If they can do that, maybe we can get Michonne or Daryl Dixon before 2017 … or at least an announcement.
