ThreeZero Reveals Incredible Sixth Scale Hannibal Lecter Action Figure
ThreeZero’s Hannibal Lecter action figure is eerily accurate to Mads Mikkelson.
“You no longer have ethical concerns, Hannibal. Only aesthetical ones.”
Immediately after reading the description on the ThreeZero website talking about the figures striking resemblance to actor Mads Mikkelsen, my first thought was that I’d be okay if they botched the face sculpt because IT. IS. SO. CREEPY. ThreeZero must have sacrificed an intern to imbue this fully articulated figure with pure evil, because it’s very presence on my computer screen is giving me the heebie-jeebies. That being said if you still want to bring this artifact of the devil into your home, read below to see what you’re getting into.
[ED: So if I want to pick one of these up… that’s weird?]
Details on the ThreeZero Sixth Scale Hannibal Lecter Action Figure
How tall is Dr. Hannibal Lector going to be?
This 1/6th scale figure is going to be 12” tall.
What’s the deal with articulation?
The website merely says full articulation, but from the pictures, you can gather we’re going to get some high-quality movement and incredible posability (poseable-ness?)
No shortage of accessories here!
In addition to his hand-stitched blue three-piece suit, complete with wingtip shoes, a pocket square, handkerchief and silk tie, the good doctor comes with two knives, a wine glass, his infamous Kill Suit (clear plastic zip-up suit), a flower crown to give his victims I presume, and three sets of exchangeable hands for a variety of nefarious purposes, including holding a wine glass, holding his weapons, and relaxed hands as well. Also, if you order from ThreeZero store, they’ll include a small stag sculpture to haunt your dreams just like Will Graham! (Encephalitis not included.) Yay!
How much will it be, and when is it shipping?
Dr. Hannibal Lector is a classy gentleman, so this high-quality set is priced at $150, shipping included. You can preorder now on ThreeZero’s website, but the figure won’t be delivered until the second quarter of 2017, so sometime between April and June. You should be able to order the figure on other sites soon as well.
UPDATE: You can now also pre-order the figure over on Entertainment Earth for $149.99.
