Earlier this week, Threezero announced that they have secured the Titanfall license – which allows them to make large-scale action figures based on the hit video game. The anticipation to see some actual prototypes has been killing some collectors, so now they have already presented us with their first action figure based on the game: the Atlas Titan.
In the Titanfall game, the Atlas Titan is the original Titan that was produced. It has a balance of armor and mobility, putting it in the middle of the pack as far as the other two Titans go. The pilot can climb inside either through the door in the chest, or even through a small hatch on the Titan’s head.
Threezero‘s Atlas Titan stands about 20 inches (50.8cm) tall and is promised to be extremely detailed. If you take a look at the unpainted prototype images below you can see that the figure is going to feature a ton of articulated joints, movable fingers and even cockpit access just like in the game. Although you could technically have a Titan without the pilot, it just wouldn’t seem complete. Threezero is also going to be making a pilot action figure that can climb inside.
Pricing, scale, release date and other details have not yet been announced.
