The One:12 Collective Shazam Figure Is Coming

The One:12 Collective Shazam Figure is Ready for Pre-Orders

Recently, we talked about a One:12 Captain Kirk action figure from Mezco Toyz. Now it’s time for something a little different from Mezco Toys, this time in collaboration with DC comics. I am talking about the One:12 Collective Shazam figure!

The “World’s Mightiest Mortal,” similar to the Kirk figure, is being developed in amazing detail, both in the character design itself and the outfit. As the name implies, the figure is made in 1/12 scale (approximately 6’’/15cm) and has a real fabric uniform. In addition, it features hyper-realistic portraits and a body with 32 points of articulation, giving it countless different posing possibilities.

The package will include 3 heads, including an “alternate smiling head” and an “alternate ‘Shazam!’ yelling head”, in addition to the regular one. Three sets of hands are included, with both flying hands and grabbing hands available, besides the regular fists. A posable, real fabric cape is also included. Two enemies are also included, the first being Mr. Mind, a two-inch alien worm with the powers to hypnotize and brain-wash others, and the second being Mister Atom, a radioactive robot and a common enemy of Shazam! In addition to this, an attachable lightning bolt is also included, giving collectors even more opportunities when it comes to creating their favorite poses with the figure. A display base with a posing post is also included, painted red with a lightning bolt drawn, giving it a nice touch for any fans of Shazam! As of now, this is the only DC based Mezco One:12 Figure not related to a certain story arc or a movie, others being either from the Batman: The Dark Knight storyline or from the upcoming Dawn of Justice movie.

The figure comes packaged in a deluxe, fifth panel window box with translucent acetate slipcover, making it great for both those who wish to keep it inside the box and those who want to remove it. The figure can be preordered now on Mezco’s website for $75, or through retailers like Entertainment Earth, with a shipping date expected sometime between July and August 2016.

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.
