Ahead of the Hasbro Star Wars Livestream, Hasbro revealed two new figures one for the Vintage Collection and one for the Black Series. For the Vintage Collection, they revealed Din Djarin in his tank trooper disguise from one the best episodes from the second series of the Mandalorian The Believer, and for the Black Series, they revealed the Dark Trooper from the second series which made their debut in the episode The Tragedy.
I think that the Din Djarin figure looks good in the Tank Trooper disguise but I think that there is a bit too much of a five o clock shadow which he didn’t really have in that episode and I don’t doubt we’ll see this in the Black Series as well. As they have done a figure of Migs in the Black Series from this episode yet and so to have one without the other in each scale doesn’t really make sense.
Ever since the Dark Trooper’s made their debut, fans have been clamoring for figures of the Dark Trooper and I am so pleased with the figure, it looks exactly like the ones you see in the series. It looks so good and it’s great that it comes with some effect pieces too. I am very curious to know how big this figure is compared to the standard Black Series figures as I know these were taller than Din when he fought against one of them. It’s a perfect army builder as well and I would love to get at least four of these on my display.
