The 2014 Tokyo Toy Show was this past week, and in the midst of it all was a new catalog revealing that six large toy companies are going to be producing Star Wars toys. If this catalog is legit, there are going to be a lot of manufacturers involved in Star Wars over the next few years.
Everyone knows that Hasbro has the license and they recently started to make 6-inch Star Wars Black Series figures, and you may have already seen Bandai‘s offerings, which were on display at the Tokyo Toy Show.
According to the image of the catalog below, it looks like TakaraTomy, Bandai, Square Enix, SEGA, Good Smile Company, and Kaiyodo are all going to be making Star Wars toys and action figures in the near future.
I know what you are wondering. Are you going to see Star Wars Play Arts Kai, Revoltech, Figma, and PVC figures? The answer is likely yes if you know anything about the above manufacturers. Though, until we actually see prototypes, we won’t know exactly what is going to be produced.
With Star Wars Episode VII on the horizon, I would imagine that we see new action figures from both the old movies and the new. The times are definitely exciting if you are a Star Wars fan.
