Star Wars Black Series Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Darth Vader & Tibidon Obi-Wan

Yesterday the third episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series was released and to coincide ith the release of the next episode Hasbro revealed two more Black Series figures. Darth Vader who will appear in the main wave and a Target exclusive figure of Obi-Wan where he is wearing a blue tunic and comes with a cape instead of a cloak as well as his blaster pistol and lightsaber.

It isn’t much difference between this figure and the one released in the upcoming wave but there are enough things different about it to warrant me getting it. I really like that you can store the lightsaber in the backpack or on his belt. The cape looks very good too and I like how you could cover part of his face with it.

There isn’t any difference between this Darth Vader and the 40th Anniversary New Hope Vader figure. The only thing is different is the packaging with the Obi-Wan logo on the packaging. Will I still get it? Probably because the latest Darth Vader Black Series figures have been fantastic. Though I do wish they would make some battle damaged versions or an unmasked one of some kind with Hayden Christensen’s likeness would be pretty sweet especially with him playing Vader in this series.

These are meant to go up for pre-order today in the States though we don’t know when you’ll be able pre-order these figures internationally yet. Hopefully, they’ll go up for pre-order elsewhere too and we’ll definitely keep you informed.
