Star Wars Black Series – More Star Wars Video Game Figures on The Way?

The Force is Strong in Star Wars Video Game Figures

Everyone knows who reads this site and watches my Youtube channel knows that I’m a really big fan of the Star Wars Black Series line, especially in the last year or so. I’ve collected most of the figures but there are still a few gaps in my collection.

Recently I have been playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order on the PS4 and I absolutely love it! Before I got the game I got hold of the Cal Kestis and the Second Sister Inquisitor figure but I’m having a hard time getting the Purge Trooper though. I’m ¾ through the game and it’s fantastic and throughout the game, you fight a huge array of enemies.

I’m not sure if Hasbro has any more plans to release figures from Jedi Fallen Order but I do have plenty of ideas for it.

  • Updated Cal Kestis – During the story of the game Cal’s lightsaber because a dual bladed lightsaber and later on it can split into two lightsabers for some awesome moves! They could give him a dual bladed lightsaber which splits into two and they could update the sculpt to show the light scars he has on his face and he could come with a BD-1 droid with a different deco.
  • Unmasked Second Sister/Trilla Suduri – The main antagonist of the game is the Second Sister Inquisitor who later is revealed be to Trilla Suduri who was a former apprentice of the Jedi Cere Junda who gave her up when she was captured by the Empire and tortured and in turn they captured Trilla and turned her into an Inquisitor. This figure is really simple just change out the head for an unmasked one. I personally would love to see it as Trilla is such a great character.
  • Cere Junda & Greez I count these figures as two as they are the crew of the Mantis and Cere takes Cal under her wing as an apprentice. I haven’t completed the game yet so I don’t know what accessories they could come with but they are such great characters it would be a shame not to see them on our toy shelves down the line.
  • Purge Troopers/Scout Troopers – In the game, the two types of opponents that you most likely encounter are the Scout Troopers armed with stun batons and Purge Troopers armed with assorted melee weapons and one variant armed with a rifle which is available to get now. The scout trooper will be pretty easy as it’s the same Scout trooper but armed with a stun baton and they could release a Commander version with the shoulder guard. The Purge Troopers could come in a two-pack with an assortment of weapons so you could army build them and have then on display with the Second Sister. I love the variety of troops in the Empire and the Purge is no different and I would love some figures of these.

One figure I would love to see the Black Series release a Starkiller figure. I know that the Force Unleashed games are no longer canon, though Hasbro has released a Jaina Solo figure who’s now a Legends character. So a 6” Starkiller could be possible. I know they did a 3.75” figure for the Vintage Collection line as well as the 3.75 Black Series and it goes for crazy money now. So it is likely, whether we’ll see more figures from the Force Unleashed games is very unlikely.

I would love to see Hasbro release more video game figures in the Black Series line eventually. I think it will happen between the films releases as Hasbro are releasing a Star Wars Battlefront II Heavy Battle Droid and a Jedi Knight Revan from the Knights of The Old Republic video game. So never say never for more Black Series video game figures.
