During the Star Wars panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, Hasbro announced that they would start producing 6-inch Star Wars Black Series ‘deluxe figures’. The first two releases are going to be a Star Wars Black Series 6 inch Speeder Bike and Jabba the Hutt.
Each of the figures carry an SRP of $39.99 and should be available this fall. The Speeder Bike is going to come with the highly anticipated 6 inch Biker Scout, which is definitely a welcome addition to the set. It looks like the Speeder Bike is going to also come with a stand, allowing for you to get some pretty awesome Biker Scout images.
Jabba the Hutt on the other hand is only going to include the Jabba figure. There isn’t going to be a Salacious Crumb crumb figure like what is being offered as part of this year’s SDCC 2014 exclusive Jabba the Hutt.
Take a look at the new hi-res loose and packaged images that were released by Hasbro. They give you a new look at the blue packaging that Hasbro is going to be offering in the future.
Hey Hasbro PR, if any of you happen to still value customer comments, listen up: You turned an anxiously awaited toy like this and turned it into a “meh” by making the throne and his accessories as a SDCC exclusive.
