Star Wars Ashoka Livestream Reveals

Yesterday, Hasbro held a livestream revealing a number of products for the Ashoka series, which premiered last week. They revealed a number of products for the Black Series, Vintage Collection & Retro Collection.

However, I should note the Black Series figures were leaked before the panel. The Black Series figures are Ezra Bridger (Lothal), Chopper, HK-87 Assassin Droid, Morgan Elsbeth, Professor Huyang & Marrok. They had General Hera Syndulla, HK-87 Assassin Droid & Morgan Elsbeth for the Vintage Collection. The Retro Collection had a wealth of reveals with Marrok, Ashoka Tano, HK-87 Assassin Droid, General Hera Syndulla, Chopper & Morgan Elsbeth.

I should note that the Retro Collection figures aren’t ready for pre-order yet. I also should add that for the Black Series they are also doing Sabine Wren’s helmet in their prop replicas line. I’ve only seen the first episode of the series and I was really impressed with it I’m looking forward to seeing how the series goes.

Some of the Vintage Collection figures look great and I would definitely consider getting some of them to build up my Vintage Collection display, especially the Hera and Assassin Droid figure. We did see some leaks for the Black Series figures before they were officially revealed we saw Ezra, Morgan & HK-87. A re-release of Chopper was expected to happen at some point with Chopper’s appearance In the series. The Ezra figure looks great and it’s nice to see other versions of Rebels characters in the Black Series line. I really love the look of Professor Huyang and I’ll definitely get him and Marrok.

I do find it strange that Morgan does not come with any accessories whatsoever, I really don’t like that tactic where they release figures with no accessories like Mon Mothma in the Andor wave. Also, where’s Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati who have featured very heavily in the marketing in the run-up to the series? I thought they would be already revealed for the line already.

I’m definitely looking to get these figures, but my one problem is that too much is coming out near the same time but I don’t doubt that I’ll be able to get all the figures that I’m after. These figures are scheduled to come out in October/November for the Black Series and the Vintage Collection and Retro Collection are scheduled to be released early next year.
