The Art Asylum blog has posted news for the newest Star Trek select collectible. The fans have requested 7 inch Star Trek action figures and Diamond Select is proud to be releasing some this winter! The series is going to be depicting characters from across the whole Star Trek universe. They figures are going to come in the standard famous Diamond Select packaging and come with a diorama-style display base. Each figure is going to come with interchangeable parts to recreate scenes using that diorama. The first figure scheduled to be released is going to be the famous Mr. Spock. (see pictures below)
The 7 inch scaled Mr. Spock is going to appear as he does in the episode “Devil in the Dark”. He comes with a diorama, interchangeable legs, hands, and a screaming head.
Expect to see this figure his stores in early 2013 and followed shortly after by James T. Kirk. Get your pre orders in now so you don’t miss out on this fantastic release.
