From the time an action figure idea is first decided on to the time it is delivered to the consumer is quite a long time. Case and point – Square Enix first displayed their Star Trek Play Arts Kai Kirk and Spock figures at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, and now this August the figures are finally going to be delivered.
Both of the figures are based on their appearances in Star Trek Into Darkness and come equipped with a phaser, communicator, a belt, interchangeable hands and more. These fully articulated action figures stand about 10 inches tall and should be available this August for about $90.
