Marvel’s Avengers Age of Ultron has just recently hit theaters and that hasn’t stopped various companies from revealing collectibles from the film. The latest one being Sideshow with the Age of Ultron War Machine Maquette.
I should note that this Maquette is based on the Iron Patriot that they released for Iron Man 3.
If you have not seen the the film, I have a minor spoiler to tell you: War Machine is in the film. Colonel Rhodes has suited up his two-tone Mark II armor with the shoulder-mounted cannon to help fend off Ultron. It also has awesome light-up features in the eyes and chest. He stands at 22 inches tall with a demolished Ultron sentry at his feet, which is of course accurate to the film.
The detail and paint as always is absolutely outstanding, which is to be expected with Sideshow Collectibles. It looks very accurate to the film I must say and the base is a fantastic. I love the inclusion of the Ultron sentry arm at his feet.
If you’re a fan of the Age of Ultron and War Machine, and you have the money, this maquette is a must have for your collection. Limited to just 750 pieces, War Machine is currently available for pre-order here for $499.99 and he’s expected to start shipping in Q2 2016.
