Tamashii Nations has been releasing a number of S.H Figuarts Star Wars figures lately, and of course, a few Force Awakens figures. Their latest being is the Riot Control Stormtrooper from the upcoming film.
As you can see it’s the same basic trooper with a riot shield and an awesome baton. The detail is absolutely perfect, just like their other Stormtroopers. The riot shield suits the aesthetic look of the FA Stormtrooper, but what really stands out to me is the baton. That thing looks like it could really do some serious damage.
It’s a very large weapon and it has an awesome extendable feature, which really does add to the variety in which way you can pose this figure. The figure will also come with a variety of interchangeable hands, which is awesome, especially for him to be positioned with or without the shield. The figure will also be fully posable much like the rest of SH Figuarts figures.
This figure is scheduled to be released next May in time for the home video release. Pre-orders are available here at Bandai’s web shop.
