The results of the Second 2014 Lego Ideas review are in. Of the 8 sets that made it to 10,000 votes (Assault on Wayne Manor, Invisible Hand, X-Mansion, Lego Lightsabers, UCS AT-AT, Wall E, Ghostbuster HQ and Hubble Telescope) Lego Ideas has chosen Wall-E by user MacLane as the next Lego Ideas set.
While it’s not too surprising Lego Ideas didn’t choose some of the bigger sets like Wayne Manor, X-Mansion or Ghostbusters Headquarters, I felt for sure they would’ve picked Hubble Telescope. It just seems to be in line with some of their more “educational” sets they tend to pick for Ideas.
Also announced was that Lego Ideas has decided to go forward and produce the Doctor Who and Companions set by user AndrewClark2. This set had been part of the First 2014 review, but was held off, pending further consideration. Well…it’s look like it’s not only been considered, but being created, as well!
Set size, piece count, retail or release date haven’t been decided upon yet. More details to follow…
