SDCC 2015 Field Report: NECA
NECA had a mix of new and previously seen offerings at it’s booth at San Diego Comic Con 2015, with much of the new product being in it’s expanding Aliens line. On display at the booth was the red Queen Alien from Aliens: Genocide, as well as figures from it’s recently announced wave 6 line. Based on the video game, Alien: Isolation, the focus of the new wave is on Ripley’s daughter, Amanda
Also up for your viewing pleasure at the booth, were some of NECA’s upcoming Pacific Rim figures. Just in time for the announcement of Pacific Rim 2’s production ramping up this November, there was the massive kaiju, Mutavore and the definitive collector’s version of Striker Eureka!
Amongst the Terminator offerings was a new two-up of Arnold Schwarzenegger as seen in this summer’s Terminator: Genisys. The figure comes with an alternate head and is due in stores this November. Not to be over-shadowed by Arnold, though, also on display was the two-up of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Conner from 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
But, probably the creepiest figure of the booth is still their upcoming quarter scale Penguin from 1992’s Batman Returns. Danny Devito never looked so…well, creepy.
You can see plenty more of NECA’s booth in our SDCC 2015 galleries.
