SDCC 2015 Exclusive: Metal Gear Solid V ‘Jamais Vu’ Raiden Sixth Scale Statue by Gecco

Gecco Corp, a Japanese company that specializes in making realistic licensed statues, has just announced that they are going to have a SDCC 2015 Exclusive Metal Gear Solid V Raiden sixth scale statue.

The statue is based on his appearance in the game during the extra ops mission ‘Jamais Vu’. In contrast to the familiar clean shiny black armor of Raiden, this exclusive white version tells the story of his fierce battles, highlighting his damaged armor.

His usual weapons, the blades and scabbards, are changed to the giant rocket launcher on his back and the assault rifle in his right hand. The assault rifle can be displayed with or without the suppressor. The base features sandbags piled high and a fallen sign, representing a classic stage of the video game. The eye glows red with a mounted LED in the head. The effect of “Augment Mode” is added on the visor.

This exclusive is really great, but what are the other toy manufacturers bringing to San Diego? Find out on our SDCC 2015 Exclusives Checklist!

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.
