SDCC 2014: Jek Porkins Mini Bust comes Exclusively from Gentle Giant

Star Wars and Gentle Giant fans should be very excited for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, as Gentle Giant has just unveiled that their second SDCC exclusive will be a Jek Porkins Mini Bust!

Jek Tono Porkins was a trader and pilot from Bestine IV who, along with the other Bestines, was forced to abandon his homeworld when the Galactic Empire chose it as the site of a new military base.

Seeking the opportunity to strike back at the Empire, Porkins joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic. After completing pilot training, he was assigned to Red Squadron and given the call sign Red Six. He fought heroically, but was killed in action over the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin.

Following right behind the announcement of the SDCC 2014 Exclusive AT-AT Driver Jumbo Kenner Figure from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, the Jek Porkins Mini Bust was digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant. It features the cult-favorite pilot in his orange flight suit with helmet, while wielding a blaster. The bust can be displayed with or without the yellow visor.

This bust was crafted with high-quality polystone and is limited to just 1000 pieces. It’s hand-painted and comes individually numbered with a matching certificate of authenticity. May the Force be with you at San Diego Comic-Con this year! Pre-orders are currently available, IF you are a Premier Guild Member. If you aren’t a PG member, you can pick this piece up in the Gentle Giant booth at SDCC for $85.
