SDCC 2014: Hot Toys Python Iron Man Mark 20 Sixth Scale Figure [Update]

Since Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 hit theaters, Hot Toys has released 13 Iron Man 3 products. Many people criticize the company for focusing too much on Iron Man and not enough on any other big properties, but business is business and Hot Toys is following the money. Clearly the demand is there, even this long after the movie, as the Hot Toys Python Iron Man Mark 20 sixth scale figure was just revealed as Hot Toys’ third and final 2014 Toy Fairs Exclusive.

The figure is essentially a repaint of the Mark 33 (head), Mark 7 (body), and the Mark 17 (legs), though that is exactly how the Mark 20 armor appeared in the movie. Even though it’s a repaint, die-hard Iron Man fans are still going to be very excited to add this new piece to their collection.

The Python armor is the Long Distance suit from the Iron Legion and features specially painted black and gold-colored armor, LED light-up functions, interchangeable parts, and figure stand with flexible pillar for dynamic posing.

Like for previous years, Sideshow Collectibles is going to be the only place to pre-order this figure. Hot Toys has listed the price at 1,680 HKD, which translates to about $216 USD. Keep checking this page for the pre-order to go live!

UPDATE: Pre-Orders are now available here!
