San Diego Comic-Con is creeping up on us very fast, in less than a month really. We have already seen quite a few Comic-Con exclusives, but we haven’t seen any of Gentle Giant‘s exclusives, until now. They just announced a AT-AT Driver Jumbo Kenner Figure as their first exclusive.
Just like with their previous releases of Jumbo Kenner action figures, this AT-AT Driver was digitally scanned from a mint 3.75″ Kenner action figure. It’s just about as accurate as you could make the figure based while still keeping his vintage action figure appearance.
Roto-cast and made of durable plastics, this jumbo figure includes a faithfully reproduced accessory blaster! It even comes fully articulated! With this line, Gentle Giant has always kept the packaging similar to what the Kenner figures came in. The AT-AT Driver comes packaged on a Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back-inspired blister card, with a resealable plastic outer clamshell.
He’s currently listed on the Gentle Giant website, but you need to be a Premier Guild Member to pre-order the figure. If you aren’t a Premier Guild Member, you can purchase this figure at the Gentle Giant booth during SDCC for $80.
