Sideshow Collectibles is going to once again returning to Middle-Earth with their new Saruman Premium Format Figure. The eldest of Wizards and the leader of the White Council, Saruman the Wise once looked to prevent the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron. Though, Saruman was lured by his desire for great power and fell into darkness and became one of the most dangerous rivals of the Fellowship.
Sideshow’s Saruman statue captures Sir Christopher Lee’s portrayal of the powerful antagonist perfectly as he appeared in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He stands an impressive 26 inches tall atop a polished staircase featuring his nameplate. He comes dressed in his intricate white robes, wielding his iconic Istari staff at one side, with his eyes locked on the light-up Palantir.
Like with most releases, Sideshow Collectibles is offering an exclusive version of this statue with an interchangeable left hand. At one moment he’s staring into the Palantir, and the next he’s commanding a rising army to help seize the One Ring…
