San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Saturday Coverage – All Galleries Now Online
Today was day 3 of San Diego Comic-Con 2014 and we set out in the mooring with the goal of getting all of the photo galleries finished up. We succeeded, adding 22 new galleries with over 1,100 photos.
Among the new galleries that we added today were Acid Rain, Action Figure Xpress, Bandai America, Bandai Shokugan, Blizzard Entertainment, Capcom, Chronicle, Elite Creature Collectibles, Four Horsemen, Hasbro Marvel PANEL, Mattel (DC Comics, Disney Cars and Planes, Ever After High, Hot Wheels, Masters of the Universe, Max Steel, Monsters High, WWE), Privateer Press, Tonner, Toynami, and YesAnime.
None of the booths had any mind-blowing reveals, though some of them had some pretty good new products that will be coming out in the next year. Our Mattel gallery has all of the new products that were shown in the Mattypalooza Panel yesterday.
Speaking of panels, the Hasbro Marvel Panel was today. They revealed several new products and said that the Walgreens pre-sale for Agent Venom was doing very well and that it’s pretty likely that something like this will happen again in the future. Marvel fans are going to be very happy with some of the new Marvel Legends and Infinite Series reveals from the panel.
I spoke with YesAnime about Play Imaginative’s Super Alloy line as well. As we already knew, Play Imaginative has been having some quality control issues and they are working on fixing them before we see any new products. Though, they said if they can fix the issues then it’s pretty likely that we may eventually see some 50+ Iron Man armors added to their diecast metal line in the future. Look for some new Play Imaginative releases this Fall and hopefully shortly after we will start hearing about them again.
