Rocky 1987 Classic Video Game Appearance Action Figure coming from NECA

As one of NECA’s San Diego Comic-Con 2013 exclusives, they brought something that the fans just couldn’t resist – a classic video game appearance Jason Voorhees figure. Fans loved the concept of making figures based on the terrible video games of yesteryear. Now they have several releases under their belt and are ready for the 5th release in the line, a Rocky 1987 classic  video game appearance action figure.

This figure was done in the same style of Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Robocop, and the Predator. He stands about 7-inches tall and comes with a removable American flag that you can drape over his shoulders. He has over 20 points of articulation and comes in a special window box (similar to previous releases) with an opening flap to re-create the look and feel of the classic 8-bit packaging.

This figure is scheduled to be shipping in September for around $25, though many retailers have him listed for less. Pre-orders are currently available here if you are interested.
