It won’t be too long to see the first offerings of Revoltech’s Star Wars figures, as Darth Vader is already up for pre-order and the Stormtrooper just joined him! They are both expected to come out in January of next year.
This article is focusing on the Stormtrooper. He’ll measure 6.30″ tall and I have to say he looks really impressive, but arms look slightly out of proportion with body in my opinion. Aside from that it looks great. I really love the paint job; it looks very easy, then again it’s not too easy to mess up the paint of a Stormtrooper.
This figure will come with a large blaster rifle and a standard blaster rifle, both of which feature some dry brushing. It’s more prominent on the larger blaster rifle though. Also, he appears to hold the larger rifle fairly easy, much easier that some already released 6-inch Star Wars Stormtroopers. He also comes with four interchangeable hands to hold the weapons with, which is a nice added touch.
He features 15 points of articulation and it looks like it works very well to get him in a wide variety of different poses. He’s up for pre-order now from BBTS and will cost $64.99.
