Pop Culture Shock sure does know how to surprise their fans. From time to time in their newsletter they sneak in some big surprises, and for yesterday’s newsletter they revealed The Thing sixth scale figures coming in 2016.
Now this isn’t the first time we saw their R.J. MacReady 12-inch figure based on John Carpenter’s The Thing. Earlier in 2015, an image of the figure in early prototype stage snuck out into the wild Internets (see below).
For the last year or so, Pop Culture Shock has been working on several sixth scale projects, which once one is finally released will be the first 12-inch action figures the company has released. Previously, their main focus was collectible statues.
