Four Cyborg Fighter Mortal Komat Statues Are On The Way

Pop Culture Shock has revealed details on their new Mortal Kombat statues. Four statues are currently in development, and all four of statues depict famous cyborg fighters from the universe. One will be available through retailers while three will be PCS exclusives. The cyborgs being made are Cyrax, Sektor, and Smoke.

All four Mortal Kombat statues will be made in ¼ scale, making their height approximately 20 inches (~52 cm), and will be sculpted out of hand-crafted polystone. The statues will depict the characters in their Klassic appearance. Two versions, once regular and one exclusive, will be made of Cyrax, while Sektor and Smoke will be getting exclusive versions. Fans will notice that they are very similar, the differences mostly being in their color and a few details found on their respective armors. The PCS Exclusive Cyrax will also feature a switch out blade arm, and Sektor will feature a flamethrower arm, while Smoke won’t include bonus content of this type. The PCS Exclusive Cyrax will also have his chest open, similar to Sektor. All three statues also feature LED light-up eyes and chest, which is a nice detail. Another great thing for collectors is that every statue will come with a certificate of authenticity as well.

While the Cyrax Retail Version’s price will be set at $399.99, all others will cost $409.99, which isn’t much of a price increase for an exclusive version. Edition sizes are currently unknown, and pre-order hasn’t started yet (though if you pre-order, PCS says they’ll give you up to 12% off the cost of the figure), but the estimated release date is sometime in the second quarter of 2017, which means you have plenty of time to decide whether or not you’ll be getting your own half a meter tall Mortal Kombat Cyborg.

PCS also revealed a preview of their future Mortal Kombat X Scorpion, but no other details about the statue itself have been revealed so we’ll keep you posted.
