Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Raphael Figure Review
This character has great accessories, a good sculpt (love the cracked shell), and is really solidly made. Average packaging, some sloppy paint spots, and minor articulation issues (such as he can't bend ninety degrees at the knees or elbows) are the only real problem.

Other figures in this series that my interest you are Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Shredder, Kraang, Foot Soldier, Splinter, and April O’Neil.
Packaging
The packaging is alright, it is nice and bright and will surely catch your eye in the store. On the front of the card you have the TMNT logo and the 4 turtles on the right side of the blister. On the back, you will see a short bio for TMNT and a bio for Raphael. Along the bottom of the back of the card, you see the rest of the figures in this wave.
Packaging is nothing really special though.
Out of The Box
Out of the box Raphael looks great. His body feels really solid and like it could take a beating from a child. He stands about 4.5″ tall (slightly shorter). I really like the color of green on Raph’s skin.
He comes with a ton of accessories. He has 2 of his regular sais, 2 sais with 1 prong, and 2 hook-like weapons. He also has 2 ninja stars (maybe there is a more proper name). The weapons all look really nice with Raphael.
Articulation
Articulation is pretty stellar as we saw with Leo and Don. He has a ball joint head that is easily removed if you want. His shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees are all swivel/hinges. He also has swivel wrists where his wrapping meets the arm, which you can’t really see. His elbow and knee joints are nicely hidden by the sculpted pads.
Only bad thing is that you can’t bend his arms on knees to 90 degrees. This is not really a problem though for posing.
Paint
The paint is where this TMNT line lacks. There is a bunch of sloppy spots all over. If you are buying your figure for a brick and mortar store be sure the look over the figure before you buy him.
The main areas that you need to look out for is his bandana, wraps, and pads. The rest of the colored areas are molded as their color. Some people aren’t really digging the solid white eyes but I think it actually looks pretty good.
Sculpt
The sculpt is honestly really good considering how cheap you can buy these figures for. All of the figures have a completely different body sculpt. I hate when they reuse bodies anyways.
Raph has a cracked chest shell, which adds to his badass look.
Color + Facial expression = Hardcore
