New Star Wars Black Series reveals!

Just today Hasbro revealed two more Star Wars Black Series figures from the Obi-Wan series, much like the last reveals just a week or so ago. The two figures are Qui-Gon Jinn (Force Spirit) & Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Legend) Like the last two figures these will be a store exclusive: Walmart. These figures have been in the pipeline for a number of months.

I am very fond of the Obi-Wan series so I would love to get figures from the series. Coincidentally the two figures are from the last scene of the last episode. We have gotten a number of Force Spirit figures so it was inevitable we would get a Qui-Gon Jinn force spirit figure. The Obi-Wan figure was one I’ve been really looking forward to since I saw the costume in the series. It’s a homage to the costume you see Obi-Wan wear in the newer Marvel comics set between ROTS & ANH.

The figure looks excellent and the likeness to Ewan McGregor is fantastic and the best likeness of the Obi-Wan series figures. I really like the look of the outfit and the goggles are a great touch. I have just noticed that his cloak has a pocket sown into it. I didn’t think he would come with the T-16 Skyhopper toy and I am very impressed with it!

I’ll definitely be getting the Obi-Wan figure and they’ll be up for pre-order on the 18th of July.
