NECA Slashes Toy Fair 2015, Revealing the Ultimate Leatherface Figure

Since the announcement and release of NECA’s Ultimate Freddy action figure, fans could only speculate what license would get the “ultimate” treatment next. At Toy Fair 2015, NECA showed of the next figure they have in store – the Ultimate Leatherface figure.

Now this isn’t the fist time that NECA has made a Leatherface figure. In fact, they just recently released a retro cloth version of Leatherface from Tobe Hooper’s 1974 slasher. Though, before the announcement of Ultimate Freddy and Leatherface, most of NECA’s horror themed figures weren’t very articulated… until now.

Created to commemorate the 4oth anniversary of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, NECA is going to be giving fans the figure they have been clamoring for.

This is what NECA is calling the definitive collector’s version of Leatherface, as he stands about 7-inches tall and features over 25 points of articulation, plus 2 equally gruesome interchangeable heads. Leatherface also comes with chainsaw, knife, mallet, meat hook, cleaver, and a vinyl apron. Loaded with features, detail and articulation, and packaged in a Deluxe 40th Anniversary window box.

With Freddy and Leatherface already getting the “ultimate” treatment, we can only speculate that an ‘Ultimate Jason’ will be up next.

Leatherface carries an SRP of $25.99, though if you purchase though this retailer you can get him for less than 20 bones. Look for him to hit store shelves in May 2015.
