NECA has now revealed the packaging shots for the upcoming Evil Dead 40th Anniversary Ash Williams figure. NECA initially revealed Evil Dead Ash Williams late last year. Now NECA has shown off the packaging which means the figure is getting closer to release.
As you can the packaging art is the original poster film which in itself is very iconic. We can see the figure and all his accessories. The figure does look great and the likeness to Bruce Campbell is great. I’m glad he comes with all the items he used in the film and they are all well detailed. The only thing he doesn’t come with is the Necronomicon. You get plenty of accessories for an Evil Dead diorama and it would make a great companion piece to the Evil Dead II Hero Ash figure. I do hope we can get Army of Darkness figures at some point to fill in the gap between II and the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series. I don’t love Evil Dead as much as I love II and Army of Darkness but this is a must-have for my Ash Williams collection as we haven’t got any figures of Ash from the original Evil Dead.
