NECA Fully Reveals Toys R Us Exclusive Robocop vs. Terminator Endoskeleton Two-Pack

NECA’s Toys R Us Exclusive Robocop vs. Terminator Endoskeleton Two-Pack is the third TRU exclusive to be offered this fall and here we have it in all its glory. NECA promises that it is only going to be the first of many releases into this new Robocop vs. Terminator line, as they have a couple more releases also scheduled for this December.

Before detailing the figures I should say that the Robocop vs. Terminator line is inspired by the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis 16-bit video game of the same name, which came out in 1993. There was a comic book series as well (which has just been collected into a re-issue graphic novel) and I really want to get my hands on it.

This two pack consists of two different colored Endoskeletons to recreate the colors that they were in the video game – orange and blue, which is exclusive to the two-pack. Aside from that they are exactly the same. They also both come with plasma rifles.

I have to say I really dig the color schemes on these; it really makes them pop. It would be very hard for me to pick my favorite of the two, as they both look absolutely fantastic. They are given the same treatment as their video game figures, which I have grown to love. You can see the difference between the different shades of color in the Orange Endoskeleton.  On the Blue Endoskeleton it looks more like dry brushing, but it also looks fantastic.

The paint jobs that have been given to the guns are brilliant. Of course they match the Endoskeleton that they come with. The colors on them really bring them to life. The articulation will be the same as that of the original Endoskeleton’s that have been released.

The box itself recreates the original video game box art, which looks brilliant, and in the background you can see some part of the video game graphics.

This exclusive two-pack comes out just as series 1 comes out, which is great news if you are a major fan of the classic video game series. I know for sure that I want it, though I think I’ll have to miss this set, as I live in the UK.
