During some of the latest conventions that NECA has been attending, they have showcased two Professor Perry figures from TMNT II Secret of The Ooze and they did state at the last event that they went to, that they would be in a two-pack and since then, they have revealed more details on it.
Like the Secret of The Ooze Tokka & Rahza two-pack, the Professor Perry two-pack will be an NECA store exclusive and will be available next Friday (24/11/23) which is Black Friday. The price has not been revealed as of yet, but I can guess that it will cost roughly the same as the Tokka & Rahza two-pack.
I’m not an overly big fan of TMNT II Secret of The Ooze film, but I’m a big fan of the late great David Warner. And I really enjoy collecting the movie figures as they are outstanding figures. I can see why this won’t be on store shelves as he’s a scientist and a supporting character in the film. This two-pack comes with two versions of Professor Perry a Hazmat suit version & a lab coat version. The likeness to David Warner is absolutely superb on the two figures.
I have not seen the film for a while, but I know he’s wearing the lab coat outfit for most of the film. So it’s really nice that NECA has done both versions. The Professor Perry figures come with plenty of accessories including; interchangeable hands, a clipboard, a hard hat, lab equipment, two pairs of removable glasses, an empty TGRI canister, and a TGRI canister.
No release date has been revealed yet, but I expect it sometime early next year. Hopefully, the shipping will be affordable to the UK as I would love to get this set.
