NECA DO Justice To One of GDT’s Finest Creature Designs!
Last year at SDCC NECA revealed that they’ll be releasing an Amphibian Man figure from Guillermo Del Toro’s Shape of Water and the final figure looks incredible.
I really loved the design of the Amphibian Man in the film and NECA have knocked it out of the park with this release. I love the skin tone and all the detail in the sculpt and the paint which really brings it out. Especially those light electric blue highlights on his legs, arms, body, and head. It looks outstanding.
I didn’t think he would come with any accessories but I’m very pleased to see he comes with an interchangeable head, hands, removable shackles and a plate of peeled eggs. He’ll also come with a display base which is from the facility that he’s housed in.
This figure is scheduled to be released in the summer/fall of this year.
