NECA SDCC 2020 Predator and Back To The Future Reveals
Yesterday NECA revealed a number of Predator and Back to The Future products. Here’s a breakdown of what they’ve revealed.
Predator:
- Lost Tribe Predator Packaging Designs
- Armored Lost Predator Packaging Art
- Lost Tribe Weapons Preview
- Predator 2 Ultimate Battle Damaged City Hunter
Back To The Future:
- Tales From Space Marty McFly Packaging
- 1985 Marty McFly Packaging
- Animated Series 6″ Figures
- 1955 Doc Brown Revealed!
Earlier this year NECA revealed two of the Lost Tribe Ultimate figures. The Lost Tribe appeared at the end of Predator 2 and now NECA is giving them the Ultimate treatment with new heads, accessories, and armor. I really like the artwork and the inclusion of the bios of the Predators which is a really nice touch. The packaging for Armored Lost includes previews of the upcoming figures and the w-i-p weapons look great and I wonder what Predators get them…
I’m glad that the Battle Damaged City Hunter is getting re-released and given the Ultimate treatment as I missed out on the original release and this figure looks absolutely fantastic and I’m very curious to know how the battle-damaged arm works as there does not look to be a peg on the removable arm. He comes with some new accessories such as the open smart disc. I cannot wait to get my hands on this one and I am very curious to see what the packaging is like for this release.
At Toy Fair earlier this year I was very excited and surprised to see NECA had the license to Back to The Future as it had been on many fans wish list and we didn’t think it could ever happen. We get a closer look at the Animated Series 6″ figures which look exactly how they do in the series and they look fairly well articulated too.
What I was really excited to see was a closer look at the 7″ Ultimate figures and the packaging that they would come in. As you can see 85′ Marty McFly comes in packaging utilizing the fantastic poster artwork by Drew Struzan and The Tales From Space Marty McFly has an EC comic book style cover which is just awesome! Seeing these packaging shots really do sell me on the figures and the likeness to Michael J.Fox on both figures looks absolutely fantastic.
Though that’s not all as NECA officially revealed the 55′ Doc Brown and I have to say the likeness to Christopher Llyod is nothing short of amazing NECA has captured his wild-eyed expressions perfectly! I think I’m gonna need two of these! It’s great to see NECA has more plans for the Back to The Future license and I hope we see more down the line.
