NECA Robocop 35th Anniversary Ultimate Figures Revealed

Your Move Creep!

On Monday NECA revealed two Robocop figures for the film’s 35th anniversary. The two figures are a clean version and a battle-damaged version of Robocop. Each of these figures comes with exclusive accessories. Both of these figures come with interchangeable unmasked Alex Murphy heads with a likeness to Peter Weller. NECA has never released a figure with an unmasked head before. NECA has said in the past that they can’t get the likeness to Peter Weller and it certainly seems like things have changed.

The likeness to Weller is great and looks very much like how he does in the film. I like how they have all the electronic parts on the back of the unmasked head. Another new feature that both of these figures have is a blast effect for the Auto 9 which has not been included with Robocop before. The Battle Damaged figure is the same battle-damaged sculpt that they used. The exclusive accessory that the Battle Damaged version comes with the chair he sits in so the scientists can monitor him. It looks very screen accurate and even has swivel parts!

The clean version comes with the Cobra Assault Cannon which came with a previous Robocop figure. Also, it should be noted that the clean version has the thigh holster but the battle damaged version doesn’t. Also, these figures will be released in April next year and they are up for pre-order in the USA but they aren’t up for pre-order in the UK yet. I would really to get these when they are released next year

He collects mostly NECA, Mcfarlane's The Walking Dead line, Hasbro: Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends and some Play Arts Kai. He would love to collect even more high end figures someday. He also does digital art, collect films on Blu-Ray, and is a voice artist.
