Back at the end of August NECA revealed that they would be producing a couple of retro style horror figures. Due to release just in time for Halloween this year will be a Mego style Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger. These MEGO inpired retro action figures are going to stand about 8 inches tall and be posable with fabric clothing.
Yesterday on Twitter NECA offered their fans a sneak peek at the packaging of either Freddy or Jason, Jason won the vote. The Jason figure is based on his appearance in Friday the 13th Part III. Along with his fabric clothing, Jason will come with a machete, harpoon gun, and an axe.
The figure will also come in blister card packaging with a re-sealable clamshell. Expect to see Freddy’s packaging very soon.
