NECA Retro Interstellar Figures Incoming!

Last November, I think we all were wondering where our Interstellar figures were. Soon you won’t have to travel to another galaxy to get your hands on Interstellar merchandise! Alright, alright, alright!

Tueaday morning, Idle Hands shared images from the Nuremberg Toy Fair of two very special figures. On NECA’s Twitter feed, Randy Falk confirmed two retro styled, Mego inspired figures from the 2014 blockbuster Interstellar.

Go get your Lincoln of choice ready to drive down to town, because these NECA Retro Interstellar Figures are coming to your favorite stores around April or May. Enough Matthew McConaughey jokes?

These figures each feature accurate, highly detailed sculpts of Matthew McConaughey as Cooper and Anne Hathaway as Dr. Brand. Through NECA’s retro figural dolls, the company continues to reinvigorate the classic Mego style with contemporary quality. Complete with real fabric outfits on a fully articulated body, these are the perfect mix of retro flair and modern detail.

As with NECA’s previous retro products, expect both figures to have unique card art that is both original and faithful to the source material. Wrap it up in a resealable clamshell package and you’ve got a set up that both mint on card collectors and openers can enjoy.

While the retro figures began as a fan service to times long past, NECA’s improvements have truly made products that appeal to all collectors. While the line certainly has proven itself, I can only see it expanding further from here on out. Snake Plisskin got me interested in retro style, Interstellar sealed the deal.
