NECA Reveals Quarter Scale Burt Ward Robin Figure from Batman 1966 TV Show

If you are a huge fan of the Batman 1966 TV show and are reading this, chances are that you have also picked up the action figures from Mattel, Hot Toys, and NECA. While Mattel and Hot Toys have been pretty quiet about more Batman ’66 action figures, NECA has just announced a quarter scale Burt Ward Robin figure, due for release by the end of this year!

NECA’s 1/4 scale Robin couldn’t be arriving at a better time, as the complete television series is going to be available on DVD and Blu-Ray for the first time at around the same time. In celebration of this big event, NECA has created a 17-inch tall poseable figure of Boy Wonder, featuring Burt Ward’s likeness.

Robin features a fabric cape, 6 interchangeable hands, Batarang, communicator, and more – which you will only find out if you buy the figure (or look at the images below). He’s super poseable and comes loaded with detail. This figure is going to be a must have for the Batman 1966 fan. Available in November 2014 for around $120, but many retailers have him listed for considerably less. Pre-orders are available here.
