NECA Gremlins Santa Stripe & Gizmo Packaging Shots

Santa Gizmo is coming soon!

Earlier this year NECA revealed that they’ll be releasing a Gremlins Santa Stripe figure. If you weren’t aware NECA has been releasing Gremlins figures based on the seasonal promotional material that was released around the same time as the film.

When NECA first revealed this figure I was very impressed and with these packaging, shots have sold me on this figure even more! As you can see Santa comes dressed in a Santa suit which includes the hat, coat, and trousers and they are soft goods so they are removable if you want a basic Stripe figure.

Accessory wise Stripe comes with a Santa sack, a candy cane, and a figure of Gizmo who can fit in the sack which is very cool. Apparently this figure is a Target exclusive in the States currently and it’s sold out in its online store. It’ll get a wider release closer to Christmas and hopefully, it’ll get an international release soon.

Here’s the press release from NECA:

Any fans of the Gremlins movies knows the rules: keep them out of sunlight, don’t get them wet, and never feed them after midnight. Break them, and your fuzzy, friendly little Mogwai will turn into a scaly, savage Gremlin. Although Gremlins released to theaters in the Summer of 1984, it went on to become a classic horror/comedy Christmas movie! Get into the holiday spirit with Santa Stripe, the leader of the mischievous monsters known as gremlins. Based on a classic marketing ad in 1984, Stripe is dressed in a fabric Santa disguise complete with belt, Santa cap, and fuzzy beard; Stripe also comes with a Gizmo accessory he can fit into his cloth gift sack. Comes in window box packaging.
