Earlier this summer when NECA hosted their Comi-Con event they revealed that they would be releasing more Gremlins 2 products. Two of the new items that they revealed are a Demolition two-pack and Brain Gremlin. I have only seen Gremlins 2 once and I do remember the Demolition Gremlins briefly and I remember Brain Gremlin very well.
As you can see they come with loads of accessories that they each used in the film and you certainly get a lot of accessories in the two-pack and I do love that the Brain Gremlin comes with a smoking pipe that’s just awesome! Like all NECA Gremlins figures, they look incredibly well detailed and sometimes implement soft goods which work very well for them. The suit that Brain wears looks absolutely terrific!
I am unsure hen these figures will be released but I can guess they will be released later this year or early next year. Here’s the press release from NECA:
The Gremlins are back, and this time they’ve taken control of a New York City media mogul’s high-tech skyscraper!
Any fan of the Gremlins movies knows the rules: keep them out of sunlight, don’t get them wet, and never feed them after midnight. Break them — and then add some of Dr. Catheter’s brain serum — and you end up with The Brain. From the sequel movie Gremlins 2: Bad Batch, this 7″ scale figure stands 6″ tall and is fully articulated.
He wears a tailored fabric suit and comes with pipe, syringe, brain serum, and interchangeable hands. Collector-friendly window box packaging with opening front flap.
