NECA Announces Original 1954 Godzilla Figure, The Kaiju That Started It All

Many NECA fans are fans of the Godzilla figures they put out. It’s very easy to see why they look incredible. Now after several different versions of Godzilla, NECA is going to where the phenomenon began with the 1954 Godzilla figure.

Like most of the NECA Godzilla figures, it’ll be in the 7-inch scale and measures 12-inches long from head to tail. I have to say NECA have captured the look of the character perfectly from the film. It looks outstanding.

Since the original film was in black and white, NECA have him painted in black and white, which simply looks incredible. I should also add that this figure has 30 points of articulation. As you can see he even has articulation in his tail and fingers!

This figure is expected to start shipping this October for $19.99. Pre-orders are currently available here.

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.
