The Imposter is getting close!
At around Toy Fair earlier this year NECA revealed a number of new Friday The 13th products including a better look at the upcoming Ultimate Friday The 13th Part V: A New Beginning Roy Burns. They’ve been teasing this figure since last year.
I know that Part V has built a cult following in recent years as this is a bit different from the other entries in this series with Roy Burns impersonating Jason Voorhees killing teens who’ve wronged him at Camp Crystal Lake.
As you can see this figure looks a bit different as he’s wearing overalls instead of the traditional shirt and pants look. The overalls are very detailed and are covered in blood. The mask is very unique as well as it has blue chevrons instead of the red ones. The likeness to the actor who plays Roy is excellent and the mask he’s wearing over his head to make him look like Jason looks excellent too as you can see the scars from the wounds Jason got in the previous films. Masked or unmasked this figure will look very unique on the shelf.
Accessory wise Roy comes with his removable hockey mask, road flare, rail road spike, cleaver, garden shears, hunting knife, machete.
I’m personally really looking forward to getting this figure and it’ll be released in the summer of this year.
