NECA’s Commando 30th Anniversary Ultimate John Matrix Figure is Armed to the Teeth

If you didn’t know by now, NECA is releasing an Ultimate John Matrix figure to commemorate Commando’s 30th Anniversary. I am so amped for this figure. The newest image that they have shown us is a final product image.

The detail looks absolutely incredible. I love the camo paint on the arms and face. The vest looks fantastic. I love that you can see all the equipment that he carries on his vest. Personally I think that the head sculpt is new, as it looks different from the one we saw at Toy Fair, though I could be wrong. I have to say they have captured Arnold Schwarzenegger’s likeness perfectly.

Like all Ultimate figures, they come packed with fantastic articulation and accessories. John Matrix is no different, as he’ll come with a desert eagle which has a holster, a knife which has a sheath, grenades, M60E3 machine gun, Valmet M78/83 machine gun and a M202A1 FLASH rocket launcher with removable rocket. Talk about armed to the teeth. I don’t think you could ask for more.

The detail looks amazing on these too, especially the rocket launcher and the rocket. I can’t wait for this figure to come out and display him with the 30th Anniversary Blu-Ray, which is coming out soon.

He’ll be released in August of this year and will retail for approximately $25.99. Some retailers have him listed for less than the SRP, including this one at just $18.99.
